Twickenham School can’t wait to get back to term time and so we started early by welcoming some of our new year 7s to Summer School 2022!

After the huge success of last year’s summer school, we were excited to host another enabling students to become familiar with the building, some of their subjects and teachers as well as getting to know each other. The week was fun and exciting as students enjoyed lessons in PE, Drama, Science, Art, outdoor learning, Food Technology and Literacy and Numeracy across the 3 days. A mixture of practical and classroom lessons allowed us to see every student thrive and we have high hopes for the year ahead.

Each day a star of the day was selected for their effort, energy and enthusiasm. Prizes were eagerly received by our winners, Emery, Lottie and Violet, who now have £25 vouchers for shops of their choice to spend as well a certificate to recognise their excellent start at secondary school.

Students are now well equipped to begin in September and we can’t wait to have the whole school back through our doors once again.

We had an exciting summer… and an even more exciting school year lies ahead!
