Feedback from our families

Feedback from our families is incredibly important to us and we would like to share their experiences with you:

I'd like to thank you for everything you have done for my child in what has been an unprecedented time for all. As a school, it is obvious for all to see how hard you all work to keep the pupils safe whilst still achieving. They have made some lovely friends and if parents evening was anything to go by, has some AMAZING teachers.

I am proud to be a part of the TS community and will continue to sing your praises to anyone who will listen. I am certain that the school will go from strength to strength and I look forward to reading how you have achieved 'Outstanding' at your next inspection!!! It's a sure bet.

My son has indeed settled in marvellously at Twickenham School, which has been exceeding expectations.

I just wanted to thank all the staff at Twickenham School for supporting my daughter throughout her final year. On top of the difficult year for everyone, she had the added stress of joining Twickenham School in the final year only! Her previous school closed for business very unexpectedly and left her high and dry during a very important year. We are very grateful that she was given a place at very short notice. The staff and leadership at Twickenham School was outstanding and she came away with great GCSE results even though for many subjects it felt like starting from scratch. This is all credit to the teachers that brought her up to speed.

We wanted to write and thank you all again for everything you do to make Twickenham School wonderful - not just academically, but in so many other ways too. We know this has been an incredibly tough year all round, navigating your teaching and care around a pandemic, but you have clearly strived consistently hard to reach out, look after and encourage our children throughout.  We never cease to be amazed at the efforts you go to and the way you always go above and beyond, in spite of the exhaustion and frustration you must feel at times. We are so grateful for each and every one of you - whether you are a teacher, support staff, premises staff, office staff - we know you all work hard to contribute and play your part in making TS thrive as a community.

I have had two boys go through the school, the eldest is now off to University. I cannot praise it enough - the teachers and senior staff are excellent.

We’ve found it to be a brilliant school for our two boys. The eldest is now at Esher and plans to move on to Uni in September and our youngest is finishing Yr11. Both have been supported throughout their school years by the amazing teachers. Cannot praise the school enough.

My son is in year 8 and has special needs. With the help of this outstanding team of teachers he blossoms more and more. Support for both pupils and parents is fantastic!!

The staff are so supportive and the communication between with school and home is amazing.

In response to Ofsted news:

This is fantastic news! I'm so pleased for you all, and that all your hard work over the past few years to improve the school has been recognised at last. Congratulations and well done to everyone.

Oh this is really wonderful news for you all. My child is only just starting their journey with you but we were SO impressed at induction day earlier this year and very confident you would get a new rating reflecting all the work that has gone into raising the standards and profile. Really chuffed for you all. WELL DONE!

I just wanted to congratulate you and your team on your recent Ofsted report. Having worked in local primary schools for over 30 years, I know how difficult it has been to establish Twickenham (Whitton) School as a school of choice for local residents. This outcome is well-deserved and fantastic news for you, your team and the local community.

I just wanted to say thank you for such a lovely end of term party - my daughter really enjoyed it and we're very grateful for all your hard work. The party ended what has been a really enjoyable first term at Twickenham and we have been so impressed by the support and care from all staff.
