- Trips & visits
At Twickenham School we appreciate the value and learning experiences that trips and visits can bring. It is important that students gain life experience and personal development. It's particularly beneficial to their learning and understanding in a specific subject by effectively using their senses. Additionally, we encourage outside speakers and groups to visit the school.
Some examples of trips and visits that we offer are:
- UK-based Geography data collection days for GCSE
- Winter Ski trip to Austria
- Culture filled trip to Vienna focusing on the Arts
- Student helpers visit local primary schools to read with younger students
- Career fair visits to engage with future employers
- Brooklands Museum host our students for science workshops
- French students visit Le Touquet to practice speaking french in local markets
- Year 10 visit the Globe Theater to watch Shakespeare for English
